I have used evernote a lot especially for my Politics and Astronomy classes which has been mostly a lecture class where it was hard to be able to keep up while the teacher was giving her slideshow and also giving many useful explanations at the same time and just writing it down on paper was not helping. When i was introduced to Evernote I wondered if it would actually be effective so i can be able to learn instead of write down and barely catch what i was hearing.
Evernote help me be faster by typing all the notes and another system that was very useful was that there was an app that can also be linked with my phone. The App version on my phone was different and it also have more resources to be able to help me such as taking a photo and beiong able to have all linked together so that it can be able to be access quickly. Also not only the camera was useful when there was data on the projector that need to be remembered but also that the app could be able to have my phone record audio as well to be able to be able to record what my professor says and also right now all the slideshow notes that was giving as well.
But for other classes rather than a lecture i would have to say that it did not work for me and i would rather do it the old-fashion way with just a pencil, eraser, and notebook. So overall i really benefited with evernote for my lecture classes.
